As your TG I would like to update you on the recent vote regarding 3
changes to the SASS official rules. Yours truly voted twice representing
both the Thunder River Renegades and the Willow Hole Cowboys.
All three passed with Yea/nay vote as follows:
For me CAS has always been an opportunity to; relive a little of my
childhood, not think about work (which I do constantly), see my friends,
and try to relax (just a little). CAS is both a competitive sport and a non-
competitive pastime.
Our club has been blessed with a group of worker bees that keep us
up and running but once a year we call on the entire membership to come
out and help keep our range in tip-top condition.
Each year we have a drawing for a
free entry, $125 in value, to our annual match: Last Stand at
Thunder River—a Salute to the Series Yellowstone—this is the
premier SASS event in all of Grimes, County, Texas.
The pool for this drawing is all the members that had at least
one clean match in 2022.
