Sight In Day?

If I understand correctly the designated monthly practice day is also a match day for the long range?  Is there a time allowed for new gun sight in/load workup on the long targets other than the 30min pre-match warmup?

Thanks!

Mongo

What fun is that?  Are you trying to cheat by practicing?

I don't know the answer.  I'm not sure how long a person can stay after the events or if the targets even get left up.

Mongo, on practice day we usually shoot a silhouette match. You can practice the long range gong and get your sight settings. Let me know if you want to do that and I'll help you. You will need a spotter for best [least frustrating] work.

 Thanks, Sir....

I will certainly take you up on that.  I have two brand new rifles & will have the Sharps sights mounted by week's end.  The Marlin has been ready but I wanted to take both to my local 100yd range for a single trip so chrono setup hassles are minimized.  Hopefully I will at least have worked up decent loads for practice day.
